The Lodge is a dedicated outpatient consulting room facility based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.  Originally built as the Porters Lodge in the early 1900’s it is a grade ll listed building which was sensitively and extensively restored and refurbished in 2009. The Lodge provides the ideal venue for private consultation for patients. 

The Park Suite is the Trust’s newly opened Private Patient facility at the Royal Victoria Infirmary - purpose built for private patients with the highest standard of comfort and privacy with all the rooms having en–suite facilities.

The Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) is situated in the heart of Newcastle's city centre and can be easily accessed by public transport or by car. There is a Multi Storey Car Park on the RVI site, accessible via Queen Victoria Road and a number of public parking facilities are available in the nearby vicinity. The RVI has recently been transformed as part of a £330 million investment programme, providing facilities in health care that are second to none.

The Freeman Hospital is situated towards the north of the city in High Heaton and can be easily accessed by public transport or by car. Over 400 public car park spaces are provided for use by both visitors and patients in the two main car parks located at the front of the hospital. A further 200 parking spaces are available on levels 0 and 1 of the Multi Storey Car Park at the rear of the hospital, opposite the Northern Centre for Cancer Care.

The Freeman Hospital's Institute of Transplantation is the very first centre of its kind in the UK. The Institute is dedicated to all forms of solid organ transplant surgery under one roof and houses an impressive range of ultramodern facilities and technology. Four ‘oversized’ high technology theatres allow for more than one transplant operation to take place at any one time.  The Institute also provides a 22 bedded intensive care and high dependency facility, designed to the very best of international specifications.

The Newcastle Fertility Centre and Northern Genetic Service are both situated at the International Centre for Life which is located in the city centre next to Newcastle Central Railway Station.

Parking spaces at the Centre for Life are limited. Alternative parking can be located nearby in the Times Square Multi Storey car park, which is a 2 minute walk from the Centre.
